Who are our volunteers?
Area Organisers lead the service in their local area and manage a team of foster carers. Initial fostering requests come into our Area Organisers who complete the necessary paperwork and identify a suitable foster carer to take the pet.
Foster carers welcome your pet into their home and care for him/her until you are able to resume this responsibility.
(We collect two character references and carry out a home visit before volunteers are officially accepted as foster carers with PFSS).
